Ben was one of the best friends I ever had in High School and at Toledo University. He was a good football team mate for all four high school years. Visits at Ben's house with his mother and dad were a hoot. One time at my house, Ben asked my Mom, "Mrs. Hardy, do you know where to get the best ham?" Being a great cook, my mom asked, "No Ben, where?" Ben, of course, answered " off a pig's ass" and then rolled with laughter along with mom. Corny, but perfect Ben Myers. I loved that guy and was saddened to see he has passed. I had looking forward to seeing him at our 60th reunion.
